IN THE LAST YEAR some 3,000 jobs have been cut in media organizations across Canada. About 370 of those lost jobs were held by members of the Canadian Media Guild who worked at the CBC, The Canadian Press, CW Television and S-VOX. We have created this site to mark the departure – due to layoff, voluntary retirement or non-renewal of contract – of these talented and committed people from our workplaces and our union. We will miss you. The media industry will miss you.
